Tally Riding Academy, located at 4229 West Regent Drive in Santa Ana, California, is dedicated to teaching students the art of horseback riding while prioritizing safety. Our instructors and volunteers are trained to follow the safety standards set by PATH International, ensuring a secure environment for all riders. We provide protective headgear that meets ASTM-FEI Standards and replace them after every major incident or every 5 years. Students who do not own a helmet are provided one by the Academy. At Tally Riding Academy, we believe in hands-on learning as the first step to true horsemanship. We teach our students, especially children, that riding a horse is something that must be earned through hard work and dedication. This includes activities such as grooming, cleaning stalls, learning about horse anatomy and welfare, and most importantly, building trust with the horses on the ground. By emphasizing these foundational skills, we help our students develop a strong relationship with our special horses at the Academy.
