Homelessness support in Turlock, California

LightBox Theatre Company, located at 250 North Broadway in Turlock, California, is a vibrant and socially conscious institution dedicated to producing thought-provoking and entertaining shows. One of their upcoming productions, featuring the character Red, explores themes of social justice and empowerment as she embarks on a unique journey with a homeless vet. Another show, centered around Triton and Cymopoleia, delves into the pressing issues of climate change and the threats to our environment. In an effort to make their art accessible to all, LightBox Theatre Company will be presenting two shows for free during their 2024 season, thanks to a generous grant from the Heartland Creative Corp. This grant program supports artists and organizations in the region, and through partnerships with local arts councils, has awarded millions of dollars to recipients.
