Elsinore Naval and Military School, located at 15900 Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore, California, is a historic institution with a rich and intriguing past. Originally built in the 1920s as the Southern California Athletic and Country Club, the building was repurposed and opened as the Elsinore Naval Academy in 1933, catering to boys in grades 1 through 12. Over the years, it evolved into the Elsinore Naval and Military School, attracting students from various backgrounds, including the children of foreign dignitaries and Hollywood celebrities. Despite its prestigious history, the school closed its doors in 1977 and has since remained abandoned, with only a caretaker living on-site to maintain the property.
