Just a mile and a half north of San Simeon, you'll find a Highway 1 bridge overlooking a picturesque creek. To access this secluded beach, park along the highway shoulder just south of the bridge and follow the path past the fence. While the descent to the sandy shoreline involves a bit of a scramble over rocks, the reward is a tranquil beach experience. The beach is widest near the creek and bridge, with more sandy stretches to explore further south.
