Rosa Parks Park

Opened on May 21, Rosa Parks Park provides much-needed open space in the heart of Long Beach. The park was inaugurated with a community celebration featuring notable guests such as 6th District Councilmember Dee Andrews and members of the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency. The event included a poignant reading of Rosa Parks’ biography by Kazmere Duffy from the 6th District's Youth Empowerment Workshop, alongside uplifting musical performances by the Poly High School "inspired glee" group.
