Hair Matters

"I don’t recommend this place. The lady in the shop doesn’t really know how to do haircut. She just grab your hair randomly and cut it as my 5 year-old son cuts paper. She just cut my hair shorter and shorter and way much shorter even though I told her how long I would like it to be in the very beginning. Also, when I was about to pay, the lady said it’s gonna be $18 but the man insisted that I should pay $21 + tips. I guess one decided how much you should pay by your hair length while the other decided it by your gender. Anyway, I don’t recommend this place and won’t come back."

"Giving 2 stars because the gentleman does a decent job with my husband's hair. If you're a woman, I would not recommend them. I recently moved to the area and prefer supporting smaller businesses. My husband had been here a few times and was happy. I had the woman and told her I just needed a trim and let her know that I have a little bit of an angle to my face. My haircut as a woman is VERY easy. First cut, without hesitation, she chops off 3-4". First, I've never had a hair dresser do that. They've always shown me in the mirror where they're going to make the first cut and asked if that looks OK, that way they do not cut too much if I want less taken. Nope, she just cut right in, so from that point on there was nothing I could do. She proceeded to create the worst angle I've ever seen....my hair looks like a mullet with my under layer in the back being so much longer than the rest of my hair. I tried telling her that she was taking too much but it turned out that she didn't understand what an angle was. When she was done I just nodded and said it was fine because I didn't want her to do anymore damage. I am now going to have to go to ANOTHER hair dresser, spending more money, to get my hair shaped correctly. I donate my hair to children with hairloss every 2-3 years. This experience will set me back 9+ months. I don't personally mind having shorter hair, but I'm frustrated that my hair looks and feels so awful, with the weirdest shaping I've ever had, and that this will affect my ability to help others in a timely manner."

"IT HAS GONE DOWNHILL TO THE WORST. I've been coming to this place for almost a decade now, from the previous owner Tony to now Jacky, it's getting worse and worse. I always wanted to support small local businesses and that's why I kept coming here despite anything. Came by for a haircut today and I gotta say this is the worse attitude I've ever seen. Took him 5 mins to do my hair because he just use a clipper and run through everything. IF YOU DONT CARE THEN QUIT! THIS WORK ATTITUDE AND ETHICS HAS TO STOP. After reading some of the comments I can only say, YES Jacky is so bias on his opinion that he is not willing to fix anything and keep giving excuses. I'm not even trying to argue but to let him know I wanted it to look this way so let's fix it. NOPE HES NOT DOING IT AND KEEP GIVING YOU ATTITUDE AND INSIST HIS OPINION. Come here only if you want a rush job done. I'd bring my business to someone else."

"Been going to Tony for haircuts for over 3 years now and I can honestly say that his skills are unmatched by his competitors in the area. I am always satisfied with my haircut and am impressed that the quality of it is still great. He knows what's he's doing. He always got AM 1430 playing too haha"
