"I would love to be able to review the gym itself but apparently they don’t do trial’s for certain people anymore. I signed my sons up online for a free trial where it said “come on in anytime, no appointment necessary”the guy at the desk said “you need an appointment and you have to be 18” and turned my 15&16 yr old sons away. So I scheduled them an appointment and asked if they can join the gym at 15&16, why can’t they trial it? He said “oh actually they can, you just have to sign a waiver”. A little annoyed he just instantly turned us away on a very slow evening at the gym, but whatever. At the last second he said “bring proof that you live in Daly City or you can’t do the trial.” We literally live 5 minutes from the gym but he saw our address is not in Daly City, which is why he said it. I got in touch with the manager who said to go ahead and bring my kids in, they can do the trial, no problem. So when I brought them back in, the same guy at the desk immediately says they can’t do a trial because they aren’t 18. I told him his manager Mark Pascual called me and said to bring them on in. The front desk guy said once Mark got off the phone with me he asked him how old my kids are. Apparently Mark specifically told him if we show up my kids can NOT do a trial. This conversation happened just after Mark called me, so I’m wondering why didn’t Mark just call me back immediately? This guy clearly was doing EVERYTHING he could think of to make sure my boys didn’t enter the gym without enrolling. I tried to have a logical conversation but he was very condescending and just kept smiling and saying “i don’t make the policy”. Weird power trip. Additionally, my kids friends were there who all had free trials which I pointed out. The guy said Mark just told him today they changed the policy because a kid broke his ankle and is suing them. The new policy “kids can join the gym, but they cannot do trials.” Just odd because the policy happened to change the very day we were there for our scheduled trial. I can’t understand why this guy was hell bent on making sure my kids didn’t check the place out. Please feel free to read my 20 other reviews, I have NEVER given less than 5 star reviews. If I have a bad experience I give ppl the benefit of the doubt and assume they are having a bad day and never leave bad reviews. But this guy did everything he could think of to make this experience difficult, with a smirk on his face. I don’t have his name, but he is the young guy, with grown out dark hair, wears a hat and has tattoos. I wish I would have read these reviews before I went through any of this, it would have saved me so much time and hassle."

"I went to get 3 days free with a friend who has membership but when I arrived at reception and showed my code to the attendant he said that there we don't give 3 days free but your friend can bring a guest so for today you're good we went to the sauna Look, I've never seen in my life a gym so dirty and old, there's mold all over the walls and a bad smell and a lot of lack of hygiene. I get sick after I leave there. My breathing is bad and I caught the flu. And it's still the same thing, they're not worried about the human side, just with their money, for me, it would have to be banning people from going to an environment like this, they need to renovate the ceiling, it's falling to the floor, it's horrible, they have a lot of money and they should show love pros associated with the situation is precarious people want to improve their health not get sick with so much mold outside the equipment is rusty and old, everything needs to be renewed never but I will go back to this place"

"The gym at Gellert Blvd in Daily City feels like a dungeon. The locker room is tiny and the 3 showers are open, no curtains or doors. 2 other shower heads sticking out of the wall, no walls, nothing! Most of the equipment looks like it is over 30 years old. Can your company reinvest into modernizing this place?"

"Avoid this place. I can't imagine them passing health inspections. The ladies room did not have one functional sink, they gave us homeless style sinks- that they put in the hallway."
