Baxter Environmental Camp is located within Humboldt Redwoods State Park in Honeydew, California, United States. This campground offers a unique camping experience in a beautiful natural setting. The camp provides picnic tables, fire rings, and access to drinking water, flush toilets, and hot pay showers. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during the summer months. The campground is situated in bear country, so visitors must properly store food and scented items. Additionally, there are five environmental camps within the park that offer a quiet and private camping experience. Campers must register prior to setting up camp and pets are not allowed at these camps. For equestrians, Cuneo Horse Camp offers access to many miles of riding trails. Williams Grove Group Camp and Marin Garden Club Group Camp are perfect for group camping experiences. For backpackers, there are five trail camps available with bear boxes and pit toilets. Dogs and other pets are not allowed on trails or at trail camps. Hike and Bike Sites are also available for "people powered" visitors.
