"I’ve always loved all the Zankou Chicken spots and this is a solid spot out of their other locations. I ordered their half chicken plate with cucumber salad with extra garlic sauce. The rotisserie chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Amazing flavor and the garlic sauce is a must have and what I love the most at Zankou. I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu items. Parking is very limited to street but worth the trip."
"They messed up my order and the food was generally overpriced. I asked for onion tatziki and lettuce to be added to my shwarma and it was like I asked to get to the moon and back. They left out the tahini, the meat was under salted and mostly just a mess. The message I got was "we don't know how to customize your order, you could just order everything separately and do it yourself, is that cool?" If you're expecting good service or a regular gyro go somewhere else."
"Ordered chicken kabob plate and a combo plate, they added onion in their tabbouleh didn't expect that, and their hummus has too much of an onion flavor but the cucumber salad is fantastic and their rice is good too. The drinks are Pepsi products so expect that. They serve hibiscus, lemonade and cucumber mint lemonade which needed a little water bc it was too sweet. The service was great but needs practice on getting their orders straight."
"Can't believe I'll find the chicken of my dream here in LA. The best grilled chicken I've had in 10 years of my life!! I got: - half chicken plate + rice - kabob plate (beef & chicken) - baklava IMO you can order anything but THE MUST is absolutely their half/full chicken. It's super juicy, fresh, aromatic, perfectly seasoned, every adjective you need to describe D E L I C I O U S!! RICE - it's very soft, has a hint of taste and still remain soft even after refrigerate + microwave it. You also can't go wrong with hummus here - seasoned and tasty. LOVE THEM!! Also must try: the little free garlic package!! Their *NEW* DTLA location is just 1.5 block from 7th Street Metro."
