"Great place for wings and beer, the wings were nice and juicy and pairs well with beer. Service from the bartender was very good, he stayed on top of us throughout the meal. My only complaint is with the seafood platter the shrimps were cooked whole, not peeled so it was a little messy and hard to eat."

"Wow! Bolt Old Town! Finally something other than Mexican food in old Town! But don't worry the have San Diego style Mexican food as well. I hadn't realized this place had opened and Im beyond happy it did because we live within walking distance. My friends and I ordered a round of beers and everybody agreed the beer was on point! Especially loved the Señor Sauve and the Pacific pale ale. Now for the food, Bolt at its other location in Little Italy (I have been going there for years) recently revamped the menu and its new offerings are amazing. Bolt decided to run the same items over in OT so i tried some new items to me. I had the Avotacos, such an amazing dish with great flavor and texture, your making a mistake if you don't order those. One of my peeps had the Bolt Burger and he said it was one of the best he's ever had! My girl ordered the Fish and Chips and cleaned the plate feeling very satisfied with her choice. The other two friends shared the street tacos and a chicken quesadilla. I wish i could have tasted more but i had to save room for the fried ice cream and it was fabulous. Bolt has really stepped up its culinary offerings and I will be a regular at this new location for sure! BTW, the place looks really nice with a vibrant happy San Diego vibe, keep up the great work Bolt!"
"Came for just one beer, saw the menu and immediately said yes to the Avotacos…I don’t eat meat so it was a must try, the tacos have the perfect presentation…they aren’t basic avocado tacos, they have the works! The portion is great, the salsa was very tasty but I just want spicier (I’m greedy) the price is right and the taste even better. Side note, my husband had the fish and chips and he really liked it, the tartar sauce was really good and said it was one of the best fish and chips he’s ever had."
