"I was travelling from Canada and my crown broke. I called Newport Beach Dental Center and Dr Gina Assad and her staff welcomed me in right away. Dr Assad was amazing in explaining what I needed to do and got my new Crown and it fit perfectly. Staff extremely friendly, helpful, caring and fun to be with. Thank you Dr Gina Assaf and staff. If I need a new crown I’m flying back to see you!!"

"I walked in with a missing front tooth & practically in tears with fear of the dentist period. I’ve always had a phobia of needles. Dr J Assaf consulted with me & gave me the most conservative method of treatment & we agreed to go with a temporary crown as I was traveling later in the week . He was so gentle with the injection that all I felt was a minimal prick. I will be following up with the permanent crown in about 2 weeks. I am so happy & I cannot stop smiling. The staff is amazing. Very informative and efficient. The office is immaculate and both Dr Gina & her Dad are FANTASTIC! My husband has now become a patient as well. I highly recommend Newport Beach Dental Center. "AVOID!!! Unprofessional Billing Practices and Unnecessary Treatment Recommendations. I am having an awful experience with this practice that I feel compelled to share. My dental insurance provider covered the cost of my check-up treatment (which includes a discount the provider agrees to within the contract with the insurer), but the practice continues to insist on charging me directly for the discount amount, despite numerous attempts from both myself and the insurance company to explain this is incorrect. They have shown a complete lack of responsiveness, ignoring multiple attempts by my insurance provider and myself to clarify that the claim was paid in full. When the insurance check was issued, it was sent with the EOB explaining the discount levels and by cashing that they accept the contract with the insurer. They cannot then try to directly charge a patient for the offset amount they agreed to. Instead of addressing the issue, the practice has taken the extreme step of sending an erroneous debt to collection, causing unnecessary stress and frustration. What's even more concerning is their questionable diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Initially, they insisted that I needed thousands of dollars in dental work. Skeptical of this advice, I sought a second opinion from another dentist. To my relief, the second dentist confirmed that no such extensive treatment was necessary. It's disheartening to see a dental practice prioritize financial gains over the well-being and trust of their patients. This may well be a misunderstanding initially, but now it has been clearly explained to them in writing by my insurer and they are unresponsive and have yet to remove the collection notice. I will provide an update to this review when they respond to me or my insurers contact attempts and remove the erroneous debt from collection."

I just had a great deal of work done over the last couple months and it was painless, every visit I couldn’t have been more happy.
