Redlands Community Hospital

"The Emergency Room was empty, we came in for treatment and were helped quickly. Once in the back waiting room, we waited for an hour for vitals and blood work. While the staff at the front desk rambled on about patients, work shift schedules and retirement. All while we waited to be seen, spoken too and assisted. The charge nurse running the back waiting area was abrupt and rude. No bedside manner which is not uncommon these days but I did not expect this from a Redlands community hospital. A handful of doctors were helpful but the nurses were less than personable and we seemed like an inconvenience for them. Caring for a loved one is stressful, I am sure we all can agree. Having to wait for an extended amount of time to receive care while listening to the staff enjoy themselves and speaking about personal and private information amongst each other is a lack of professionalism. After 4-5 hours at the hospital ER. With little to no patients waiting to be attended. We were discharged. I hope your experience will not be similar to ours. I really expected more from my hometown community hospital. Take care and be well."

"THIS PLACE IS WORSE THAN A HORROR MOVIE. A stranger on the street would have helped me more than this hospital did!! I had been violently assaulted by two unknown thugs in a local park, barely escaping with my life. With blood jutting out of me like a fountain, I called 911. Then came the second and perhaps worse attack on me by way of this twisted hospital. From the moment their ambulance showed up, I was yelled at, demeaned, bullied, and ridiculed by their staff. Still in shock, I remained nothing but polite. Long story short, I was at the hospital for twelve hours and not once did they wipe the blood from my face, offer me pain medication, or care for me in any meaningful way. Mind you, I find out much later that I had a dislocated jaw, a perforated eardrum, a hemorrhaged eyeball, a concussion, major neck injuries, and multiple skull fractures not to mention open lacerations all over my head and face. Looking back, it was a miracle I survived. After being admitted, I was left alone untreated for hours sitting in a hard chair in some administration room in the back - not even offered a bed. No one really checked on me, despite my constant crying and loud moaning from the pain. If I did find a staff member and politely ask them what was going on, they berated me and ordered me to sit down and shut up. The ER doctor was the only person with even a sliver of compassion and professionalism and I was able to get an MRI from her. But even after the results, I was still left alone in that awful bright room bleeding and crying. Wasn't even offered water or a tissue until I insisted I needed one so I didn't bleed all over their chair. I know that ER staff need to disassociate in order to deal with what they see, but this staff's behavior bordered on outright cruelty and medical malpractice. I'm not sure what was more traumatic – the attack itself or the experience with this sadistic staff. At literally the most vulnerable moments in my entire life, I felt like I was kicked in the gut by the lack of medical attention and cruel indifference from these disgusting people. And judging by the other reviews, I'm not the only one. Class action lawsuit, anyone...?"

"We had our beloved mother get admitted on 2/12/24 and let me tell you the staff was amazing we really loved our nurse Tiem he is a ray of sunshine. He made sure my mother was comfortable and good dwelling. All the staff is awesome thank you again for all you guys do it’s really appreciated! Blessings to you guys! ❤️"

"This place should be investigated for the inhumane treatment of their patients. The man who was taking my EKG grabbed my chest and twisted it when he told me to get up and I couldn’t. I had some severe bruises afterwards. I was told to shut up and was berated by the staff while I was struggling to breathe.. I worked in a medical field and I always had love and respect for my fellow health care professionals. This place was my first time experiencing such abuse. These people don’t deserve their damn licenses. Absolute unethical and shameful."

"This is the worst hospital I’ve ever had to deal with. Karen a social worker there basically told me and my brother-in-law that she didn’t care that our father-in-law had dementia. She didn’t want to help us at all with resources for him. The doctor lied about so much stuff. This review would be a mile long if I stated everything we went through during our father-in-laws stay there. They are sending him home without any help. It’s horrible how our health care system treats our elderly."
