The park, which was acquired in 1984, features native plants, including an oak grove and two dedicated oak trees near the entrance, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. In 1999, four acres of the park were developed into a neighborhood park with funding from a cooperative agreement with the City of Thousand Oaks.
