"I love this place. They truly care about the welfare of all reptiles and not just about making a buck. I know this because a few years ago, my dad and I decided to try to rehome my brother’s turtle who he seemed to have abandoned. My brother was 35 at the time and still lives at home (tbh I think he might be on the spectrum), and brings home random critters from time to time but is terrible at caring for them, including this turtle. My dad and I couldn’t stand to see it suffer anymore so one day we called around to all the local pet stores and this place was the only one to accept them no hesitation. Mind you, this is a very common turtle not worth much money so I know they weren’t in it for that. Knowing this turtle were in caring hands was such a relief for us!! We had no idea how to care for it seeing as it wasn’t our pet, and my brother was not properly taking care of it, so rehoming it was the best option for all involved."
