Welcome to Bab Ul Ilm Jafari Shia Islamic Center, a vibrant mosque and place of worship nestled in the heart of Maywood, California. Located at 5950 Heliotrope Circle, our center serves the spiritual and community needs of Shia Muslims in the Los Angeles area and beyond. Established in 1997, Bab Ul Ilm has been a beacon of faith and learning, proudly residing at our current location since December 2000. Under the esteemed leadership of Hujjatul Islam Syed Fazil Mosavi, who founded the center, Bab Ul Ilm continues to thrive as a hub for religious education, spiritual growth, and community engagement. Our center is fully supported by the generous donations of our community members and is recognized as a 501(c) non-profit organization in the State of California.
