During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our events and speakers were recorded and can be enjoyed on our YouTube channel. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that the Sandcastle Theater Company will be offering classes at our clubhouse starting this spring. Their Spring Drama Program will allow kids to collaborate and create original theater productions, fostering creativity, self-confidence, and collaboration skills.

The institution offers various services and activities for its members, including an open studio where individuals can socialize and work on projects, morning check-ins, sessions on calming anxiety, discussions on next steps in recovery journeys, monthly forums highlighting community resources, and afternoon check-ins to reflect on the day. The institution was founded in 2012 as the Petaluma Peer Recovery Project and became the Peer Recovery Center in 2017. It is supported by Sonoma County Behavioral Health and West County Services, funded by the Mental Health Services Act and donations. Both members and staff have experienced mental health challenges, and the community is dedicated to supporting one another through wellness, compassion, creativity, and humor.
