Hwa Rang Do Norwalk is a traditional martial arts school located at 13824 San Antonio Drive in Norwalk, California. As a branch of the World Headquarters of Hwa Rang Do®, our academy is certified by the art's founder, Supreme Grandmaster Dr. Joo Bang Lee. We are dedicated to teaching and maintaining the high values and moral ethics of classic Eastern philosophies. Headed by SabumNim Jesus Hernandez, a Third Degree HRD Black Sash, our academy offers classes for men, women, and children of all ages and skill levels. We are open 6 days a week and provide a warm and friendly environment for all students. Our goal is to help individuals achieve balance, maximize their human potential, and ultimately achieve harmony with themselves, humanity, the world, and the universe.

Established in 1976 by the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors, our library was designed to cater to the unique needs of the Marina community. In 1999, thanks to the generous contributions of the Marina Foundation, the Board of Supervisors, and the County of Los Angeles Public Library, we proudly expanded our facility to include the William R. Pagen Nautical Wing and the Greg and Mimi Wenger Community Room. Our library was renamed in honor of Lloyd Taber, a key benefactor whose support was instrumental in our development. Situated in the heart of a vibrant small craft harbor, the Lloyd Taber-Marina del Rey Library offers an extensive Nautical Collection, tailored to the interests and informational needs of boating enthusiasts and the local community. We are committed to fostering a love for reading and learning through a variety of programs and resources, including our annual LA County Library Bookmark Contest, which invites young artists to showcase their creativity.
