She is also the pediatric medical director of the Concurrent Care For Children pediatric program at Hospice of Santa Cruz County. Dr. Walker is passionate about children's issues, women's issues, social justice, and advocacy. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and served as the immediate past president of California AAP Chapter 1. Dr. Walker attended Stanford University for her undergraduate studies, Columbia University for medical school, and completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Oakland. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, music, hiking, and being in nature.
