"Got seated within 15 mins of waiting. They were very accommodating if you brought kids, highchairs if needed. The waitress Emelia, was very attentive and very welcoming...she did a wonderful job with my party of 10. Everyone said their meal were delicious, I got the jambalaya, IT WAS FANTASTIC, so much flavor and a good size serving for the price of $24. The atmosphere was on point, good music and everyone around enjoyed themselves. The only negative I can give would be to lower the music just a tad, it felt like I was at the club while eating and you couldn't hear the person next to you talking other than that I would definitely come back."

"To make it short, it's disappointing. Went for lunch, made our orders, got our food quickly but without any utensils. So we sat looking at our food for some time before the waitress came back... The food looks good, but it's average and not worth the markup. Like fancy cafeteria food. It does have a cool vibe inside though, and the bar is extensive. Might come back to see how it is during the evening, but lunch was a definite waste of time and money."

"This was my first time going here. Felt like I waddled into a nightclub with the lights and music. We had to wait in the lobby to be seated. The service was a little slow, but the food was excellent. I had the catfish with sweet potato fries, which my son loved. It was pricey, but it would be a great place to take a date. They have live music on Thursdays starting at 7:30 p.m. I will definitely be back."

"The wife and I celebrated our 18th anniversary in Los Angeles, and we found this spot by chance. The atmosphere was a vibe by itself. The wife loved the backdrops to take pictures. The server was great, but the food was the high point for me. I got the fish and grits, but I had to add a piece of fish because it was just that good! I told the server that they knew they were wrong for giving one piece of fish with that meal. After I was done, I told the server to have a blessed day, and I wished all his dreams would come through!! They cooking, cooking at this establishment!! I'll go back just to eat here!!"

"Came with a large party to celebrate my cousins graduation (Masters). We were split between 2 tables side by side (our choice as we didn't want the large table on the patio). The ambiance is hip and real nice. They had a live band which was a nice touch. As others have stated, the music is a bit too loud but the music selection was good. The food was amazing!!! Everything ordered was top notch, fresh, well seasoned, and flavorful. I was very impressed with the menu options we ordered. First, the crab cakes are a must have. I ordered one knowing I would want two. It was moist not dry and was a true crab cake, not the ones made with majority filler ingredients... it was so good, I ordered two more. I highly recommend. I also had the shrimp and grits which were delicious. I ordered mine with grilled shrimp but they do offer fried shrimp for those that prefer it. The grits were creamy, smooth and filling. My cousin ordered the Killer Cajun Fettuccine with salmon and it was seasoned to perfection. It had the right amount of sauce which I like (been to several places where I've had to request more sauce). The portion size was good... there was enough left over to take some home. We also had the salmon taquitos (unfortunately, I forgot to snap a pic before consuming... they were that good). Additionally, we had drinks. Due to drinking a lot the night before, I chose to keep it light with a strawberry pineapple mimosa which was refreshing. My cousin had a sidecar which was tasty. The service was good, I didn't catch our servers name but she did a great job attending to the group. The chef and owner even stopped by the table (my cousin knows them). Overall I enjoyed my first experience. Would definitely come back if I didn't live 2hrs away (SD). If I'm ever in the area, I will make it a point to visit again."
