"People don't like long reviews so I'll keep this short. We stopped here before our trip to the airport to leave town. Outstanding selection on the menu, outstanding service, outstanding food. If I don't come back here it's only because I am not traveling to the area again. If we come back to San Pedro we will definitely patronize this place again. I don't tend to leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one for Happy Diner. Eat here."

"As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by a smiling gentleman and escorted to a table. Our server was there in less than a minute, and coffee was fast. The many great reviews about the food are well deserved, and they have a slightly different take on many dishes...all good. I would have given a straight 5 except for the atmosphere. The kitchen area faces you and is pretty messy. My wife used to manage restaurants and said she would have a "come to Jesus" meeting the moment she took charge. The bussing cart was next to seating booths, there were boxes, food, dishes, and all else piled everywhere in the kitchen with no apparent organization. That being said, it was busy, and the food and service made up for it."
