"Very accessible to tourists attractions. Can just walk around safely. One thing we just did not like was the shower. It hardly can get your body wet. They should change the shower head or put more pressure on the water."

"Decent yet forgettable hotel, but poor customer service. When we got to our room, I immediately wanted to set up my Fire stick for watching TV later - something I do all the time when travelling. I have never seen a worse example of a TV (and the flimsy universal remote looked like it was $5 from a gas station). I went down to the front desk and asked them to swap our TV for one from another vacant room. Our friends in another room had a much more current LG TV so I knew this was a legitimate request. The gal at the front desk obviously didn't take my request seriously, said she would speak to a manager and that never happened. We actually stayed there during the last week of December and I'm betting that gal just assumed I would forget about this poor experience. Guess what, I didn't and we won't be back."

"Spent two nights here. On the first night everything was fine. The second night a domestic violence situation broke out in the room next to mine. My room did not have a phone to call the office and when I looked up the number to call from my cell phone, nobody answered. I left my room because I have PTSD and only then found a note taped to the office door with a number to text after hours. I had to text this number several times before the issue finally stopped, but I was about to call the police. When I asked for a refund, the front desk person said she would talk to a manager and nobody has reached back out to offer a refund for this horrible stay. There are much nicer places in Solvang to stay."

"Nice place. We stayed here after a change of plans on a long road trip. Room was a good size. Clean & quiet. They offer danishes from a local bakery in the morning."

"Great location, but the hotel itself is meh. The 'breakfast' was just a box of Danish, and a pile of napkins. Not even coffee. And this, in a land of baked goodies and coffee! The room was serviced once in 3 days! This was just a motel, masquerading as a boutique hotel."
