"The Che Cafe has been a staple of the UCSD campus, and the San Diego music community for decades now. I’ve been lucky to attend and perform at this beautiful venue located in La Jolla (just minutes away from La Jolla Shores) and must say there is no other place like it. The stage is as straight forward as they come, but they also setup bands outside in the courtyard to maintain a flow of non-stop music. I’d give it less stars because the parking issue has never, and will never be fixed, but the venue is worth the 5 stars alone. It’s thanks to them that many hardcore/indie/scramz bands are able to have amazing show in San Diego."

"Cool venue and local community space. The only DIY venue that I currently know of in SD that is entirely volunteer run. It's a nice intimate space to see up and coming bands, and anybody is welcome to help volunteer at shows too. They also do a lot of mutual aid events as well, which help support great causes. I don't know of many other spots in the area like it."

"Student-run, progressive collective with awesome policies (sober space, do not bring drugs or alcohol here) and inclusive. I was there for a concert and found it very enjoyable, will be back!"
