Hilton Garden Inn Irvine East/Lake Forest

"I should have paid attention to prior reviews before booking my stay here. When I entered the room for the first time, the chair to sit at the desk was missing. The walls between rooms are so thin I could hear the residents in the adjoining room talking in a conventional tone in the 1 to 4 AM timeframe. When I was about to shower in the morning, there were two bottles of conditioner but no shampoo. Finally, after arranging a late checkout of 12 PM, room service entered my room as I was about to enter the shower. This all represents poor management in my opinion. I used to travel for work and used to stay at Courtyard By Marriott because of the cleanliness and friendly and efficient staff. I made a mistake by trying to save a couple of bucks on this trip. Never again at this place."

"Had a good long stay here (7 days). Room are clean, stuff was lovely. Location worked for us - target, walmart and a variety of restaurant options are all less than 5 min away. Our only annoyance was that the quick staff visits were made and thank you for tidying up and changing the towels but the coffees weren't replenished and conditioner remained empty. Small things and we could have asked for them but we just always forgot or were too exhausted after the day of events."

"Very nice property. However if you want to eat breakfast there it is $18.95 when the Hampton Inn next-door owned by the same hospitality group offers complementary breakfast. Had I known this I would not have prepaid for my room and have stayed at the Hampton Inn because I have never known or been charged for a breakfast while staying at a Hilton Garden Inn due to my Hilton Honors and points. Even though the property is very nice I would stay right next-door at the Hampton Inn"

"Stayed for the week and really enjoyed it. The hotel staff of Katie, Jake, Ellie, and Sandy at the front desk are so welcoming and helpful. Joe and Omar were friendly and attentive to any and all guest needs during breakfast. The food was good. Elijah came and fixed the phone in my room. He had such a positive and helpful demeanor. Violet in housekeeping was very friendly and made sure my room stayed well stocked. The entire team here is phenomenal and made the stay great."

"We are still here for a long stay and the hotel is nice. The lobby is really big and comfy. The rooms are comfortable and sensible for travelers. The accommodations are great and it's the perfect size for your stay. I really appreciate the cleanliness and the amount of towels stocked. The coffee and microwave are really great for travelers. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very Quiet and calm. Not a lot going on which is good for rest. The location is near so many things a quick little drive to anything you may need. I appreciate this hotel's staff. Definitely not disappointed."
