"We really enjoy the experience of having a tasty beverage at Lupulo. This trip was our third visit and I have to report that thanks to bartender Kayla, they really exceeded our expectations and hit the ball out of the park! Kayla is friendly, accommodating and does a fantastic job of making new faces feel like old friends. She is a wealth of knowledge regarding the massive selection of brews and will take the time to help you make the best decision for your palate. The selection is stellar, the interior is open (including outdoor seating) and well appointed with fun art and decor. We are looking forward to returning soon, checking out more libations and sampling the tempting cuisine. Lupulo is a welcome addition to downtown Santa Cruz and staff like Kayla make us excited to become frequent visitors to this very unique and special spot."

"Tasty place to get tacos and beer! Lupulo has the best tacos in town, they are super flavorful and served with fresh pickled veggies and a lime wedg. The tacos pair perfectly with one of their many rotating beer and cider selections. They offer indoor and outdoor seating that is shaded."

"The beer selection is just amazing. Good to see there are still places with a variety of styles on tap and not just a bunch of IPAs. Food is pretty good but not amazing. Beer selection to-go is also great and prices are probably the best I've seen in NorCal. Lupulo is a must every time I visit Santa Cruz."

"A great beer and tapas experience. The empanadas were delicious and the beer was great. The staff were super friendly and helpful, highly recommended this location if you are looking for some good eats in downtown Santa Cruz. Avocado toast was great and so was the cheese platter. Also recommend the pickled items they do those great."
