"We enjoyed it as much as we could on a hot day such as today (85°). What i want to know is why when people make the sketches and plans for the parks, dont include an awning over them so babies and children dont get 3rd degree burns from the playstructures. Intense eye roll"
"The playground area is on the corner of 14th & chestnut, a pretty big playground for the community home and apartments. The playground also offers a play area for teens too like a basketball court and a soccer field. Upon entering the playground, there are several stone benches to sit and watch your child play and plenty of trees for shade. The center of the playground has a restroom area. The ice-cream truck and fruit cart make stops thru the park often."
"The Playground at 14th Street Park is a little oasis for neighborhood kids to escape the concrete jungles of apartment buildings and busy one-way streets. The medium size play structure offers kids and families the opportunity to safely recreate in a fenced area away from cars. The amenities include two swings, a jungle gym, two-sided rock climbing wall, slides, a small zip-line and other fun items. The playground is located directly at the corner of 14th Street and Chestnut Ave in the City of Long Beach, California. It's open to the public 7 days a week from sunrise to 10:00 pm. The playground is fairly clean and well maintained."
