Plein Air Tuscany is a unique institution located in Santa Barbara, California, dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience of exploring the stunning landscapes and charming towns of Tuscany through art. Led by experienced artist and teacher Garrett Speirs, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of the region while honing their painting skills.

The week-long workshop includes daily painting sessions, where participants will learn important painting concepts and techniques from Garrett, who has over 32 years of experience painting in Tuscany. The program is intentionally limited to a maximum of 13 students to ensure an intimate and supportive learning environment for all levels of experience.

Participants will stay at a historic property within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Val D'Orcia, where they will be treated to delicious meals prepared by the talented chef Filippo and his team. The farm-to-table dining experience features locally sourced ingredients and culinary surprises that will delight the taste buds.

Each day will begin with a warm welcome from the hosts Alessandro and Fabrizio, followed by a day of painting, observation, and exploration of the Tuscan countryside. After a day of creativity and adventure, participants can retire to their country chic rooms with ensuite bathrooms for a restful night's sleep.
