"I recently opened a commercial account at the Santa Barbara Ace Hardware, the store is perfect for the homeowner the handyman the contractor for any kind of General Construction and or renovation work . there is also a large parking lot which is very helpful , and if you need help loading your truck with materials there's always somebody there. if I thought that I was going to retire (im 75 yrs) from design building here in Santa Barbara I would apply for a job there, I noticed most of the people are very experienced whether it be Electrical Plumbing or several of the other trades which makes it an ideal situation, I think it's a great place"

"Kinda cluttered. Staff is not very courteous, especially the cashiers. I have been there 3 times, and each cashier has been curt at best. I much prefer the Goleta store."

They are a bit more expensive than some of the other hardware/plants etc stores but there is ALWAYS someone right there to help you if you're looking for something which I appreciate so much. The employees seem like they enjoy working there so they must treat their employees well. You can also spend tons of money on there because they will have everything and MORE. I love their outdoor plant and fruit tree selection."
