"Nice little visitor center. Many interactive displays to educate you what is in the channel Islands national Park. There is a boat that can take you to the islands. 2 Islands are about an hour away. 3 Islands are about 3 hours by boat in good conditions. They drop you with no services, like water, cell phone, or food. Then come and pick you back up in about 6 hours. If you survived you get a ride back to the main land. Also found out that the boats don't really run except maybe once a month. Parking is limited according to the signs for Marina parking and no beach parking. They have a small gift shop and small aquarium with some sea life from the islands. Restrooms and a three story observation deck where you can see the islands out in the distance, behind the oil rigs. They have Jr ranger program but no bark ranger program since they discriminate against pet owners. Give this review a like if you go to national parks"
