Dominick's Italian Restaurant & Deli

"My family of five went in for some sandwiches and decided to dine in on the restaurant side. I have been searching for a good mortadella sandwich for a long time and they have the best! We ordered two different sandwiches, a pizza, dessert and an assortment of food from the deli and each and every one was absolutely delicious. We ate way too much and I can't wait to go back again. I've been craving it since. Service was also outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was great. I've been driving by for years and meaning to stop in and I'm glad we finally did."

"Service not bad. Our server was consistent and friendly. Atmosphere decent. Cute little deli n restaurant. Food actually terrible. I got the lasagna and it literally was a melted block of cheese with some lasagna noodles. When asked how our food was I told them the lasagna was not great and you would have thought I killed their first child. The server sent over another gentleman who explained to me that's their best selling item and could not understand why I didn't like it. No meat. Sauce on the side. The lasagna was literally cheese n noodles, that's it. Bland and so much cheese. One bite I took was just a chunk of cheese I had to choke down. They asked if I wanted anything else but after the lasagna I was honestly a little nervous about trying something else. We also got meatballs which were very very dense and kind of rubbery. I had room for dessert since I didn't eat the lasagna and the cheesecake was half frozen still. They did not comp us for the lasagna that I did not eat but that's not a big deal. We will not be going back again. Not worth the price they charge. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Just not worth the price they charge for subpar food"

"Wonderful first visit to Dominick's. We opted to eat on the deli side. I ordered the hot pizza hero with side of butter beans. Really good...the half sandwich was too much food! Hubby ordered the veal parmesan hero and shrooms and was not disappointed. We plan on making this a part of our regular local rotation."

"First time here and it didn’t disappoint. The market is awesome for fresh eats to take home and the restaurant portion is amazing food . I got the meatball hero full size . OMG I could barely eat half it’s so filling and the sauce is amazing !"

"My husband and I absolutely love the food at Dominick's Italian Restaurant. Everything from their pasta dishes, roasted clams, calzones, pizzas, gelato, cannolis are just amazing! We have yet to not enjoy something that we ordered from here. The food is cooked fresh to order and it really tastes like a home cooked meal. It's a small & cozy restaurant and gives off a warm and friendly vibe. Came here for girls night out. One friend came from Gold River and another from El Dorado so it was a great middle spot for us. We enjoyed some Roasted Clams with bacon and they are seriously my favorite. The sauce is so good, I could just dip the bread in it forever. I ordered the Fruitt di Mare Al Forno that's an assortment of seafood pasta and my friends ordered the Veal Rollatini dish and the Eggplant Rollatini. We enjoyed all the food along with a delicious glass of Italian Red Wine. Excellent service that night from Pepe. My friends loved it and they each said they were going to bring their husbands back to it for a date night. Highly recommend this gem in Granite Bay if you are looking for some authentic Italian food and support family owned businesses. They also have a cute Market & Deli next door that you can shop items imported from Italy to enjoy at home."
