"I did the stupid thing and turned on Ford MyKey with only 1 key in my possession. So now my truck has a speed limiter, volume limiter and many other annoying features. The only way was to have a new key made and programmed as a Master key. I called so many locksmiths in a 30 mile radius of me. The answers I got were either "I dont know what a Ford MyKey is", or " we cant cut those" (i had a new key blank ready to cut) or " yeah we can sell you a new blank and cut it for $400. HOWEVER, I then came across Buffums. They answered the phone and after explaining my story, the response was " bring it in, we can help you". So I went in the following Saturday, and wouldnt you know, they quickly cut my provided key blank, and then programmed it. We tried it on my truck and was able to delete the stupid MyKey stuff. THEY SAVED THE DAY. I wont advertise how much they charged me, but i will say it was less then half the other price I typed above. I know it sounds trivial, but it was annoying Every time i hit 65mph an alarm would go off. No seat belt=no radio. Certain XM channels WHICH I PAY FOR, would not be allowed. BUFFUMS SAVED MY SANITY. Go to them for anything key or lock related. I work in the automotive industry and have given their business cards to any customer of mine needing a locksmith. Would give 100 stars if allowed. THATS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS."

Today, I had a new key cut and programmed for my Lexus. The process took a total of 15 minutes, and the price of the service was much less than what the Lexus dealership wanted. Many thanks!"
