"Me and my sister did the play with clay class and had a blast. Was a great first time throwing clay on a wheel (I have no natural talent) and got to make some cool pieces. The lady who owns the studio is very friendly and said you should book this class directly through her website rather than Airbnb or other sites because it’s cheaper. I thought that was nice of her to mention. You’ll get to make up to five pieces and decide which ones you want to keep. Then if you’re local enough, you can come back and glaze it yourself which I plan on doing"
"I'm reviewing this after taking 4 classes and using up 16 hours of access to the studio and equipment. I loved the deal that I purchased for only $160 plus an opportunity to get to know other people who are into pottery. The part that was really disappointing was lack of interest in teaching by two male instructions who work there. They spend 5-10 min with the students but then they leave to proceed with their own activities. That's not teaching. In order for someone to attempt to learn at that place, they need to come in to practice and ask other members for help. That to me was a good starting point. I'm glad I discovered the place and met the people I met. For actually learning how to make pottery, to me this place did not meet my expectations or teaching standards, but it helped me begin my pottery journey. So I'd still recommend the place for someone who is new to pottery and needs to start out."
"We love Robin as well as all her other teachers there. They really teach you and show you with much attention and care. Myself and my daughters practiced on the wheel and had so much fun. What a great experience."
