The MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House is a contemporary, experimental institution located at 835 Kings Road in West Hollywood, California. Founded in 1994, the MAK Center is a non-profit organization and the California satellite of the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna. The center is headquartered in three architectural landmarks designed by Rudolph M. Schindler, offering a unique space for art and architectural exploration. The MAK Center offers a variety of programs, including the internationally recognized MAK Artists and Architects-in-Residence Program, which provides emerging international artists and architects with a residency opportunity.
