"The 5 dollar combos at this Pollo Loco are singlehandedly keeping me alive. It’s the best bargain I can get on campus, a real bang for your buck kinda deal, ya know. And money is kinda in short supply, so I keep coming back here. Everyday, Monday thru Friday, I eat at this Pollo Loco. Breakfast, Pollo Loco. Lunch, Pollo Loco. Dinner, Pollo Loco. Take a girl on a date. Pollo Loco. I sleep and I dream of Pollo Loco. I don’t even taste it anymore. I can’t even say for sure if I enjoy it, really. I know I should just eat somewhere else, but the 5 dollar bargain just keeps me coming back. I keep myself locked in a grilled, carb-rich prison of my own doing, afraid of what lies beyond the great unknown. It’s at this point that I begin to wonder. Is the Pollo Loco, or am I the one that is Loco?"
"Food is good and affordable, service is consistently bad. When asking questions, the workers are unhelpful and would rather make you feel dumb for not knowing their menu than actually answer the question."
"I got full so fast on the 4pc combo it wasn't even funny. The food is very good but it won't compete with other chicken restaurants like Popeyes or canes"
"I was given dehydrated chicken. It was probably the old pieces left overs. Usually a good place to eat. Not this time. Plus portions are for little kids. 5.00 for what looked like 5 0unces was ridiculous."
"Sorry, this place does exist, it's located on the campus of Cal State Long Beach in the student union building. As for the food, it's El Pollo Loco, so if you like them, this one is fine. Decent prices as far as campus food goes too."
