"Simon Surgical saved my dog. My pup had a giant mass on his spleen. MASH quoted me an astronomical price for a splenectomy - well outside what I could afford. I had very little time to find another option and am forever grateful that I found Simon. They were able to do the surgery for 1/3 of the cost - flat rate so no surprises. Nathan was incredibly responsive and helpful, even when it didn't look like they would be able to fit us into their schedule. Thankfully, an opening came up and they quickly slotted us in. Dr. Simon did a masterful surgery, and the team rallied around both me and my pup over the next few days while he got through critical recovery stages - early mornings, late nights, they were there and I knew they cared. I went from preparing to say good-bye to looking forward to what I hope will be more years with a now-healthy pup. THANK you Dr. Simon and the whole talented and attentive team."

"I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. We had both of our dogs treated for TPLO surgeries with Dr. Simon. Our first dog had her surgery a little over a year ago and she has been an amazing ball of energy since. Our second dog had his surgery done today and the procedure went very smoothly. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Simon and their staff, including their office manager, Nathan, who was very helpful in all discussions and scheduling. "My 13 year old dog (Ollie) became suddenly ill and was diagnosed with a splenic tumor at an emergency vet hospital. The estimate for surgery was approx $8500 which they wanted to do immediately. I took him home that night and the next morning called multiple offices looking for options. I stumbled across SVS and their flat fee system. As Ollie had not eaten breakfast they were able to take him in right away, records were reviewed, he was evaluated as stable and in surgery by noon and discharged by 4pm. Post op instructions were provided in writing and reviewed with us by the tech and were clear (pain meds, diet, activity, wound care) I was able to contact them easily when I had a couple of questions. The first 4 days were the hardest supervising his care…as we have lots of stairs, and we got an after surgery onesie as the cone agitated him. At 2 weeks we went back for staple removal and we are now a month out and Ollie is back to his 2 mile walks and full activity. Personally I like this business model, your pet is diagnosed elsewhere and then you have the option to go to a specialty surgery center that is more cost effective. Due to the nature of shared space at the location all interactions with techs were in the parking lot. Everyone I interacted with was kind and concerned with the best outcome for Ollie. I would not hesitate to use them again if we needed to."

"Dr Simon is so knowledgeable. She and her staff were the only ones to come forward to help save our two week old rescue kittens from a life threatening congenital condition. Nathan took my call on a weekend while at a wedding. I was panicking and he was able to give me a sense of reassurance that they could not only save the babies, but do it for $10,000 less than we had been quoted at VCA, yet VCA wasn’t even sure if they would be willing to perform the surgery needed. They seem to care more about money. Nathan put me at ease, and I knew I was in good hands. Pun intended as our kitten they saved is named Hands :) I trust Dr. Simon more than I would any emergency vet. We care so deeply for our babies and our rescue babies, and I see the same care from Dr. Simon and her staff. Thank you Nathan, thank you Dr. Simon. "This review is long overdue. I can’t thank Dr. Simon and her crew enough. She has performed two successful TPLO surgeries and one plate removal surgery for my boy Baloo. She even took the time to talk me through instructions for his care on a holiday weekend when they were closed. A special thank you to Elma, hope I spelled that right, for always relaying important information and helping me feel comfortable with the process. Baloo obviously wasn’t thrilled about going in for checkups. But with time, he was visibly more comfortable in her care. Going through this surgery process was definitely less stressful because of the care and time they gave. I could call anytime I had a question and they’d gladly check him out to make sure his recovery was going well. The rehab therapy instructions provided were also a huge plus. The rehab work is on the owner so I appreciate them going as far as to have it all laid out week by week and even providing videos on their website so we can see how to properly perform the exercises.
