"The international student planning program offered by Diego University is quite excellent and really takes care of international students. When I first arrived at the school, the international student coordinator took us out to eat and we were able to take a boat ride on the ocean to see Santa Barbara. Their international student coordinator can help students interact with any of their teachers. One time I was taking a test in his classroom and he helped me understand the questions being asked and helped me translate any words I didn't know. One cool thing is that there are students in the school learning Chinese. This means it is easy to make friends with them. Since I joined the International Friendship Program, I go out with an American student studying Chinese every month. We would go to Starbucks or somewhere and have a drink together. Another year, we went to Chinatown."
