"I am so glad I went with Don and his staff. Don made me feel comfortable starting from our first meeting. His staff was very helpful and on the day of the service and he and his wife went over and above to assure everything went well for my mother’s burial. I highly recommend them. They are a pleasure to work with."
"Funeral arrangements went fine with Don. Extremely expensive place to go, I would shop around. The issues I had with Don and the directors was at the very end of the service. I'm 23, my father died unexpectedly. Near the end of the service Don personally began moving objects like the podium and rushing us before we had a chance to properly conclude. Incredibly disrespectful to my family and my dad's honor, for over 8 thousand dollars no less. The cherry on top was Don assuring me during the funeral that they would not lower my father until all parties left. Complete lie. We stayed no more than 25 minutes and they dumped my dad's casket right in front of us. Will definitely be going somewhere else next time a loved one dies. Not worth the disrespect and emotional pain for the outrageous price. I want to conclude this with the fact Don is a business man. Funeral homes and people like him predate on grief and will squeeze every penny they can from you in the thick of your pain. Avoid directors who lack empathy and professionalism. He is a business man, through and through. Be wary."
"My dad passed in May '23 & we came here. The appearance is a little run down to be honest, but the inside is nice & the staff is knowledgeable, respectful & really tries to honor the life of those that passed. I gave 4 not 5 because we waited 2 days for the obituary to be posted to their site & when my sister called to inquire on when it'd be made available she was told the secretary was on vacation, and when she retired it'd be up. So I paid $110 for Legacy to post the obituary to get the word on on arrangements."
"Our deepest thanks to the whole Catchen family. We lost a beloved family member suddenly and with all hearts broken, these wonderful people both stepped in and stepped up to provide our loved one with a proper and fitting funeral. They were professional, sympathetic and helped out in ways that allowed our family the time to grieve, to contemplate, to celebrate a life and perhaps to start the healing process."
"My dad passed away suddenly, I was very unfamiliar with the Kentucky area, as I'm from Virginia. I called Don and knew right away I had picked the right place. He made us feel welcome, and helped us tremendously. I love that it's family ran. My mom and me enjoyed Don's stories, and the conversations we exchanged. My dad's services were to be in Colorado, and his urn we ordered wasn't going to be in on time, Don was nice enough to let us borrow one until my dads came in. His kids are amazing people and so is he! Thank you all so much for making the worse thing that's ever happened to me, as painless as possible. I can only hope this review helps others too. God bless you all! Merry Christmas. ❤ Paris & Jill Carrillo family xo."
