"Nice lake. It's quite when u get away from all the people on the dock. Only problem i have is there is not enough camping spots"

"The lake is nice, but don’t bother going to camp. We eventually hiked to a spot around the lake (trails not maintained) but it was a as-good-as-it-gets kind of spot. Drove too far to not stay and camp so we made it worth while but won’t go again."

"Good for fishing if you have a boat. If not your stuck fishing off the dam. Although it’s Wayne National Forest property, don’t bother trying to camp here. There is no place to set a camp site. There is a “huge” steep hill on each side of this lake. So steep you can’t even walk on them. The only flat spot is the dam and no camp sites allowed on the dam. There is a road on the backside of the lake, but like most other Wayne National Forest roads, people decided to use it for mud bogging and it’s nearly impossible to drive on. Trust me, I drove from Hocking hills 2 hrs away to camp here and had to go back home."
