"Angela’s is God sent and her venue was everything. Angela accommodated us with everything we asked for and never complained. Her venue is one of the best in the Cincinnati area and I recommend everyone to check it out if you have an event coming up. Her and her daughter are the sweetest people I’ve came in contact with when searching for wedding venues. I definitely will be booking The Luxe again in the future ❤️"
"We were really excited to have our wedding here as this is visually the perfect venue for the vibe we were going for but, if I could go back, I would pick a different venue with different staff. Our experience with the Luxe started off extremely positive when we were signing the contract and during the initial stages of planning. However, when it came to the last few months before our wedding, the staff was unresponsive to us and to vendors’ access questions. The owner also verbally told us many things that she then went back on the night of the wedding. The owner was rude to our other vendors both in pre-wedding meetings and the day of the wedding. She was also rude to several of our family members who were gathering our gifts, cards, leftover alcohol/drinks, etc at the end of the reception."
"My cousin had her wedding here, it was so beautiful and fun"
"The bridal suit was set to 83 or 84 degrees and we couldn’t change it. It was so hot in there. I loved sweating profusely right before my wedding. The venue was also really hot the entire time and everyone was complaining about it. I was told 2 weeks before my wedding that they no longer provided drinks. I had to figure out drinks 2 weeks before while being out of state. That was fun. In my wedding video, you can see the owner in the background taking a video, which ruined my wedding video. I was told something different everytime I asked. Now, I asked a million questions multiple times since I was out of state. First, I was told that the timeline at the venue started when the guests arrive. So I then asked if I could get ready at the venue and was told no, and that it would be extra. Okay, no big deal. When discussing timeline again, I was then told that the time started when I arrived. Changing my timeline AGAIN. Leading up to the wedding, I had many conversations about timeline with my other venders. Seemed to be all on the same page. AFTER discussing and solidifying the timeline with my other venders, I was then told by the owner that I cannot arrive until 1 hour before the ceremony. How was I supposed to get dressed, have a first look, and take a few pictures only an hour before? Out of pure frustration at this point, I flat out told them that wasn’t going to work. It was so annoying feeling like I didn’t have a set timeline because the venue was constantly changing it. With all of this, I was worried about when my venders could arrive. I was told that it was no problem to have my vendors show up whenever they wanted. Some of my venders were friends/family. They needed enough time to set up and then also get ready before the ceremony. THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING, I was told venders could not show up before 12. I was so fed up with the constant changing of plans. It was really frustrating for me and my vendors. I had to tell multiple vendors different times multiple times. I ALSO asked if I could decorate the pergola and was told yes. When my friends were decorating it, they were told it couldn’t be decorated. I truly dont understand being told one thing and then being told the complete opposite later. It made my whole wedding planning/wedding experience extremely stressful. The entire time, the owner was pestering me with questions and pressing me about time. I wasn’t stressed at all until she kept coming to me and asking when were going to be ready to start or move on the next thing. And in the middle of our pictures, STOPPING THE PICTURES, to ask the photographers when we were going to be done. She made this experience so much more stressful and not enjoyable at all. Loved the venue, it was really beautiful but other than that, not worth the money and hassle at all."
"Most gorgeous venue in Cincinnati. For any bride that cares about aesthetics and beautiful photo/video. You found your home."
