"It was really nice Deaf kids fest!"
"Stay away from this school. It is a low rent institution ran by the Ernst family. Kindergarten onwards you would have cheaper better options in Public School. Or, Go to Amazon and buy teaching tools yourself and save some money. For the excessive tuition charged, the educational Academic Standards resemble a badly ran daycare. Why such low educational execution? Blame two people. Greg Ernest, Former Superintendent from early 90s to 2018 and his daughter : Angie Firth; maiden name Ernst. She is the current Superintendent, immediately following her father. The Ernst Nepotism has infested, and planted toxic roots in this once great school. Since the early 90s Greg hired family members on the Catholic Church's dime. Including siblings and his own kids. That means this Catholic Institution is a mainly uniquely Catholic Church "Ma and Pa Shop"; a Family and Operated Business. Angie Firth and her sister Kimberly and Aunt Beth work there. There are more unnamed family Ernst connected there. Shame Shame on the Arch Diocese that allows such vile Nepotism to thrive there. Arch Diocese, Sir. Ask yourself one question, would you leave St Rita's to decay or hire a new Executive Director to breath new life in this school? Angie's dad Greg, now retired, and Angie's current family cronies are ill equiped. And antiquated to handle the future challenges of St Rita. No matter how many smartboards and technology they buy, in reaction to online; current criticisms, the teacher pedigree prevails. It is a mere mask to hide "who knows who" versus more qualified educators. Try hiring professionals in key positions using a free and open transparent job market process instead of hiring "buddies" and those who can easily fit in a family tree. Jesus turned water into Wine. The Ernst Family and their cohorts turned the Rita's, a once great institution and its legacy, Wine into Vinegar."
"This school is amazing and I appreciate how kind all of the staff were and my daughter Faith loved the school and after 8 years of going there she is going to be in a different school now for 6th grade and she was sad to hear that because of how much she loved that school. And she misses all of the staff that works there."
"There is no room for people of color in that field of work."
"Unprofessional staff and principal. Not to mention, the school is old and outdated. You’d be better off paying for your kids to go to a better school."
