David Palmer is a scholar with expertise in key subject matter areas in addition to his theological training and degrees. This combination of passionate hearts and sound understanding leads to teaching which is Spirit-filled and accessible to all. Pastor Alberto Bent brings us all to our feet and sometimes to our knees with worship that directs our hearts to Jesus. Children, Youth, and Teens are all loved, accepted, and given a strong Biblical foundation within the Sunday School program. The staff, helped by dedicated volunteers give quality time to each person in their care. Generations of families have now grown up at Kenwood and Lord willing, many more to come! Kenwood has groups that reach out into the community, such as a Japanese fellowship, a Needs Pantry, local school outreaches, and plenty of volunteers to cook for the men at City Gospel Mission. Healthy churches humbly serve one another and receive God’s blessing. Healthy churches learn about and search the Scriptures Healthy churches share God's Word with others fulfilling the Great Commission."
