"I am bad with names, but the gentleman that helped me work through my late payments in the office was amazing to work with. He was very clear at explaining the auction process so I knew how much time I had to catch up after losing my job (and then several months later finally finding a new one). One of the times I stopped by I forgot my coin purse. He remembered who it belonged to and knew I'd be back to make my catch up payments so he hung onto it. I'm grateful he was patient through my questions and panic. He listened to my concerns and addressed them honestly which made it easier for me to come up with a plan to catch up. It's always easy to say a company is great when everything is going smoothly, but how someone handles the effects of your hardships to their business can make or break a company. He was empathetic, but was sure to make sure I understood what my timeline needed to be to save my stuff, and made sure I was aware of all my options. I will be continuing to work with them."

"I’ve driven by this location for years. The time came when I needed a storage unit. I looked at multiple places comparing price, features and convenience of location. Compass had an extremely easy online reservation process with rates that were similar or better than competitors. The selling point was the location being less than a five minute drive from home which meant I could move without traveling all over town. When it came time to move in, Matt, the General Manager made the check-in process super easy. He was up front, answered all my questions and made suggestions that helped save money. I also rented a U-Haul just to round out the deal and keep everything in house. I’m extremely satisfied with how simple and stress free the experience was. Matt also laughed at my terrible jokes which is always a win in my book."

"I rented a uhaul van from them for a day and Matt was Incredibly helpful. The process was easy and efficient. Very thankful to have this place in the neghborhood. I will be back for any future moving needs and will recommend to family & friends."

"Most terrible experience with this place ever! Beware! I rented a unit in the summer of 2022 at the rate of 89 dollars per month. Within 6 months the rate was increased to 130 dollars a month. After the first year my rate went to 160 dollars a month. In the fall of 2023 I was at my unit arranging my business tools as a lot of other renters do the same. The next time I came to my unit I had a notice saying to see the office. Apparently because I was there working in my unit other people were uncomfortable and I was asked not to spend more than an hour a day at my unit! This was said by then manager Lindsay. Shortly after my rate increased to 200 dollars per month for a 10x12 unit. At the end of 2023 I had some hardship issues with my very toxic ex and explained to them my situation. I paid for 3 months up front. In April of 2024 they auctioned off my unit knowing that I was not able to have contact with them until May of 2024. When they auctioned my unit the person they sold it to tried to get several credit cards and other things using my information. When I found out and called compass self storage they told me I had 2 totes of pictures they kept for me which is a joke because half the stuff is broken and everything sentimental I had is gone. Another thing is do not give them your bank info or debit card online as they will try to run your card many times resulting in double and triple charges that takes forever for them to correct. After spending close to 5k with them and losing tons of valuables and sentimental items and now dealing with identity fraud.. I do not recommend them at all. They will not work with you and they will increase your rate to satisfy their greed. Not to mention they got a good scam with the auction thing too.. they knew I wouldn’t be able to fight them and with how much tools and other valuable stuff that was in the unit.. I am sure they made off nicely.. who cares about a long standing renter that’s paid thousands of dollars and respected their property. So beware that’s my experience with these crooks!"
