"The upkeep is DEPLORABLE!!! We came to see my grandparents. And the weeds were almost up to my knees. The roads are terrible shape. Headstones were sliding off. This is the second year we have seen this"
"Your website said sunrise to sunset. I’ma single mother that works full time and can’t even spend time with my brother. I only come once a year. It’s not fair to us that can’t make it. I just wanted to spend a few minutes with my brother. It is my therapy. What are we supposed to do? My most available hours are when you close those gates. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful there and it is always maintained. Like i just wish i could have till 6 like i don’t even get off work till 5. But thank you. I did get to tell him happy birthday and switch out his flowers. I sincerely apologize that i couldn’t make it till like 5 minutes before you closed. I was unaware of the hours."
"They really quit taking care of this place. Just up and left it seems. We will be moving my husbands mother to a new cemetery that is actually taken care of with nice grounds and roads. The dead trees, pot hole covered roads, and uncut grass is downright disrespectful."
"One of the most beautiful, and historic cemeteries in the region. The craftsmanship on the chapel is outstanding (see photos below). I obviously went to see the more famous burials, but decided right before I left to visit the location where Rain Man was filmed. I parked my car near the Smalley Monument, got out and started walking towards the area, when something below me caught my eye. I looked down, and right near the spot the movie was filmed were two "Pfirman" graves. Come to find out that I have relatives buried at Evergreen! The last photo shows the Smalley Monument, with my relatives graves in the lower, right corner."
"This is an absolutely beautiful cemetery. My family came to visit our loved ones that have passed and really enjoyed spending some time here remembering them. The trees and hills were beautiful, the roads were fine. No complaints."
