Our mission encompasses fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services, ensuring that we are always ready to assist those in need.

Founded in 1939 as an all-volunteer department, we have evolved into a robust organization staffed by a combination of full-time and part-time firefighter paramedics and EMTs. Our full-time members work a 24-hour on-duty, 48-hour off-duty rotation, ensuring that our station is always prepared to respond to emergencies. We are proud to hold an ISO Rating of 2, reflecting our high standards of service and commitment to excellence.

Under the leadership of Fire Chief Anthony Stanley, who assumed the role on May 28, 2021, the Springdale Fire Department continues to excel in providing top-notch firefighting and emergency medical services. Chief Stanley, a valued member of the department since 1999, has a distinguished record of service and extensive training in incident management, business administration, and leadership. His dedication to the department and the community is unwavering, and he looks forward to continuing his service in his new role.
