"Logan is the best!!! Grade A customer service on "pie" day. Although this kid has many orders. He did it with a smile. He wasn't alone the whole team did a great job."
"This location recently added a new self-checkout kiosk that I’ve been using if I just have one or two items. Yesterday I bought a pack of 6 donuts with the self-checkout, grabbed the receipt & walked out the front door. Today I walk in & some lazy guy who “works” there but doesn’t really do anything other than walk around listening to obnoxious rap music for the whole store to hear, yelled at me saying I need to pay for those donuts, & that the lady on the front counter saw me walk out with them. I told him I payed for them with the self-checkout & he didn’t believe me until I repeated it several times. What’s the point of a self-checkout if you’re gonna accuse people of stealing if they use it? Anyway, I said they could check the cameras & they would see me using my credit card to buy the donuts. But if they were smart enough to do that then maybe they wouldn’t be working at Speedway. Instead they’re just trying to make something out of nothing. I tried showing my receipt from today to the lady on the register but she refused to look at me. Great customer service! I work down the street & get something from here every morning, but I guess this is a sign that Speedway doesn’t need my money"
"This Speedway staff from top to bottom is great. I live in the apartments nearby and stop in almost every day. May not seem like much, but I and other regulars notice. They do good work and are very friendly!"
"Nasty PERIOD...but let me clarify. The general manager is an extremely hard working young man who has VERY little help in that store. He keeps the coolers stocked great and the trash all took care of outside as well. He even cooks for customers when the cook doesn't show up which is alot. I worked there for years and had awful experiences with very low pay and zero days off for time with family. The coorporate office does NOT care about anything but the almighty dollar which shows and that hurts business. There is also a 2nd shift lady working there who has been there years and she is GREAT as well. The poor GM has a family to support so he is no doubt doing the best he can with the hand he was dealt in this place."
"This location was remodeled a couple years so the store itself is pretty nice. They added a small beer cave but that was pointless because they just keep it stocked with cheap domestic stuff. They also improved the parking lot at this time which was desperately needed. Gas prices are generally the lowest in the immediate area. They have an issue keeping their cups and lids stocked in the morning. Also, there have been many times when I've waited in a very long line while the second cashier stands outside smoking. In addition to that, I have a "special" gift card which I got from a local car dealership which gives me $.06 off per gallon. I basically have to teach the cashiers how to ring it up every time I go to reload it and that's frustrating. Recently their computer systems have been messing up as well. Often it won't let me gain Speedy rewards points when reloading my gift card if I use a different payment method. Nobody has been able to tell me why this happens, and frankly they don't seem to care."
