"We hired water shed to replace our bath tub and shower pan and plumb for new fixtures before tile could be laid for the tile surround. The plumbers that were sent took 3 days to get this project done. While there they worked slowly and took frequent smoke breaks. They also complained about the job and could be heard muttering obscenities about wanting to throw the thing out the door. The owner came to the site and asked them to work faster. The plumbers went on about how the owner struggles to keep employees because of how he treats them and how he over charges people for the jobs. When we got the bill for the work we were surprised at the cost. The plumber said, we should have gotten a bid for the work upfront because it would have been cheaper than being charged per hour. We brought this to the office attention and they said it wasn’t true and didn’t validate our complaint. Once the tiling was completed we needed to install the trim kits. One of the shower trim kit could not be installed because the plumber ran out of parts on the truck to instead of installing a plastic piece that can be unscrewed, he installed a copper piece that needed a wrench to be unscrewed, the problem was the piece was installed behind the concrete board and tile and could not be reached to fit the wrench. We had to call another plumber to come out to install the trim kits. The plumber had to cut out the back of the shower wall to redo the work we were over charged to do and then patch up my wall. I called the office again with pictures of the work and the bill for the other plumbers work. I asked them to please discount my bill to reflect what I had to pay out to redo their bad job. The owner fought me on my claims stating if he had been called back out he would have been able to fix it without cutting a hole in the back of the shower. He also stated if he had needed to cut a hole, it would have been “ a beautiful hole”. Not the large one in the picture I showed him. Overall very disappointed in their work. And their inability to resolve matters when presented with overwhelming evidence that the job wasn’t their best. I know we all make mistakes but I personally own up to them when I do. I won’t ever work with them again after how I have been treated."
