"Just left here. Had a few simple questions about marriage application. My questions were met with intense disrespect and possible hatred of life. Didn't get any questions answered. This is one scenario after another with this county. Too much unnecessary disrespect and bullying. I've lived in this county for 16 years and own land here. This was my final straw, I will no longer be shopping local. I will no longer play my part in upholding a quality county."

"Amber, the court clerk hates older men and was very rude with a short fuse. She threatened to have my elderly father arrested for failure to appear in court on 4/1/24. He was hospitalized and nearly died thanks to the ineptitude of Infectious Disease specialist Osmanzai of the GSMC at 809 West 82nd Parkway."

"Pretty awful experience. I just recently called the clerk's office with a simple question about a copy of a marriage license. The person I spoke was rude, and to my yes/no question, she not only refused to give simple yes/no answer but instead she kept giving condenscending and almost laughably robotic answer. Truly don't understand why people like her chose a career in a public sector."

"THE FAMILY COURT MIGHT AS WELL BE CRIMINAL COURT they way they treat fathers by default. The obstacles you have to go through just to exercise your right as a parent is ridiculous especially when there no legitimate reason to prevent you from seeing children. It’s all games and tactics and play on procedure. Theses clerks are useless they will give you the run around, will withhold information from you and even lie. You’ll get better information researching anything they say yourself.!It’s best to ask for a supervisor and most of them time they are no better help. You have to stay on top of them and they do move shady. It’s best you verify and dig deep anything they say because at the end of the day you’re the one held accountable."

"I’ve had to use the clerk of court twice in lest than a month. To get certified copies of court documents and to renew a passport. Both interactions were spot on. The court documents took a day to get but they were upfront about it and it was painless. The staff was pleasant and helpful. As for the passport, as long as you go in with all you need (double check the Department of State website and follow all the steps, you’ll be in and out in no time. In fact, Ms. Julie was the most pleasant and professional person I’ve encountered at any county office."
