"Team Dave's was a pleasure to work with until it came time to move out. I paid a cleaner 250 to come clean the last day I was at the house so there would not be any issues, but still got charged 500 for them to have a separate one come. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with that except for the fact that the home was vacant for almost an entire month before they even had somebody come look at it. (I know because myself or a coworker drove by on a daily basis to perform extra patrols to ensure no one was breaking in, or squatting, after potentially noticing me moving out). Their contract states that they'd be doing a final walk-through and get with you within the first three days of you leaving which did not occur. I waited to hear or have it scheduled, but had to leave for training for three weeks, which I was at the end of when I got a text asking for my address again. I kept checking my account with them until it said I no longer had one. The receipt for the 'deodorizer' was dated June 24th however I was out of the property May 31st which means it's sat there for a minimum of three weeks accumulating moisture and dust from all the rain and bad weather. (The house had a bad mildew problem when I moved in, so I had to do the same upon moving in last year, in addition to pay a lady to deep clean due to the thick dirt and dust that had accumulated everywhere from what seemed like years of vacancy potentially, despite it being used as a vacation home in the interim.) In the 11 months that I was there, I changed the screens on the entire screened in porch, as well as on the front door with my own money, which was about $250 out of the kindness of my heart, since some of the trimming has begun to rot. I also replaced a board that had broken on the deck with my own money and time, none of which I sought reimbursement for at the time and now regret. I paid a man to do the yard once, although he never returned, doing the yard was not my responsibility either way, and I never saw it reimbursement for that. Upon me changing the filters when I moved in, the date written on the filters was 2018, so one can assume that it was potentially the last time somebody had actually been at the residence so I went ahead and also paid to have the AC serviced, which again I did not seek reimbursement for. The only wear or tear I had documented was some of the blinds, which had cracked due to the extreme exposure to the sun from the inefficiency windows and doors, which I had attempted to combat through adding shade skins to the windows, which I ultimately took with me since they were 300 and reusable for other windows. And the floor which was not installed correctly in the lower room, or living room, so would show signs of water accumulating somehow. I combatted that by purchasing a shop vac and dehumidifiers which I placed through the house. I also left an antique curio cabinet that was worth 2500 that the home owners said they wouldn't mind keeping since it was an interesting piece. Overall, I feel I was a decent tenant, and as a multi property owner myself, I would have not charged 500 much less a month later, but that's just me. I'm disappointed in the way things ended here and I will not make the mistake of investing in a rental property again, as I can see that it's not going to matter whether you're a decent tenant or not with most places. The Dave's were a pleasure to work with like I said, but this move out process was inconsistent and unreliable."
"Bill and Cyndi were fantastic in selling my home in Hiawassee. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I wouldn’t have anyone else!"
"I called about the possibility of a rent to own at a time of a painful situation and instead, with the help of team Daves, I closed on my very own home about three months later. I consider Cyndi and Bill to have been God's instruments to help me in my time of need."
"We had a wonderful experience with Bill and Cyndi and we are hard to please, as they know. They worked with us for months trying to find us the perfect place and did just that. Very pleased with their service, they went above and beyond for us. We were over 2 hours away and they would go check places out and FaceTime with us to save the trips. Thank you very much! If your looking in the area, please consider them, you will not be disappointed!"
