"4 strikes and their out 1. Left hvac manual in blower, it shredded and blew into auxiliary heater and started on fire filling house with smoke. 2. Did not check attic unit condensation solenoid valve and pump which was faulty. Unit flooded and ruined bedroom ceiling and wall. Required retapping and painting. 3. Air return filter housing fell down from ceiling. Only screwed into drywall and not joists. 4. Mini split unit in upper bedroom leaked and ruined wall below it. Installer cut away insulating wrap to make connections and left lines exposed. Without the insulation the lines sweated with condensation to the point where the wall and baseboard trim have water damage. Carpet was also wet. Customer service when I talked to the owner/manager was they wanted to change me to repair their atrocious poor workmanship. Would not work with me at all. Strike 5. Split a/c unit didn’t work 2 days before my son and family arrived from Wisconsin. All Freon leaked out. Long Bay use shark-bite fittings that are push in connectors prone to leaking at low pressures. It’s quick and cheap. $1,700 later to have it done right with solder. Hope my experience helps you."
