"We decided to go with Johnson after hearing about their years of experience and turned down several other cheaper bids. After multiple attempts to contact the foreman we finally got a delayed start date and what ended up being rushed and shoddy work. We asked for a specific rounded edge on our patio which ended up being squared off, the finish compared to our existing concrete was rough and gritty instead of smooth and polished. The workers left permanent red chalk lines on the finish that I can’t even pressure wash off with a 3100 psi tip. Multiple spots are chipping and cracking. The joints aren’t beveled. It looks like a totally different type of concrete job than what was already there from the original construction grass is already growing through the asphalt skirt. . Saddened and disappointed that we didn’t use someone else. They were $2,000 more than the next closest bidder. We thought we were hiring the best but with one look at the side by side comparison from our builders original concrete and this job it’s clearly much poorer quality work. This wasn’t just some tiny job this was a major driveway and rear patio expansion that cost us over $15,000."
