"Bus leaving Roanoke, VA for Knoxville repeatedly broke down with over-the-phone customer service at Greyhound being completely oblivious of what was happening with the bus beyond its constant breaking down. Patrons had no clue what time they would see a bus (more than 3 hours after the scheduled departure), and the 100 Kirkwood Street bus stop in Knoxville is generally in a shady part of the town with no restrooms or decent stores close by. The actual station that used to be there closed down a while back due to Greyhound losing money. Surprise. Surprise. Greyhound. The Frontier Airlines of the American highway. By the way, that's not a compliment. Like Frontier Airlines, I will no longer recommend Greyhound to friends, family, enemies, and exes."
"Will never ever attempt to take a Greyhound again. Booked a ticket and the bus broke down. Waited almost 2 hours without being notified. We called they wouldn't refund but offered to reschedule. Our ride couldn't make it so we called to reschedule and they said only for an additional $30 fee. Asked for a refund and again they couldn't refund but could give a 25% credit for a future trip. I paid the fee. Then the bus left early. Bought 1 more ticket. Showed up more than 10 minutes before departure time and the bus had already left."
"This bus system is a joke. I bought my friend a ticket to Asheville. They were an hour and a half behind schedule. Then two hours away the bus brakes stopped working. They said it would be 2 to 4 hours before they got a new bus. My friend was stranded and had to walk down the interstate with her bags. They never got a new bus. I had to drive 4 extra hours. I filled for a refund and what a joke. They offered me a voucher for 19$ for another trip. Like I would ever book with them again."
"Not what I expected I was thinking it was going to look like the pictures nope I was wrong and there isn't any rest rooms knoxville tennessee do better"
"This was a good experience. The driver was timely, and nice. I loved how polite the passengers were. The station had trash but I was there for the actual bus ride anyway. It was good."
